Notice and to bring the virtually limitless power of the Empire to bear on an unruly quadrant, an area composed of four adjacent sectors. Heavy carrier battlegroups gave the Empire the ability to deploy anywhere on short Over twice the size of an Imperial-class Star Destroyer and half the size of the Super-class Star Destroyers, the Revenge-class heavy carrier was a mobile weapons platform designed to project Imperial power and to enforce peace by restoring Imperial order. Used to project the Empire's might where ever trouble flared up, with masses of fighters, walkers and troops, the Revenge class was capable of dealing with any problem that could arise. While a power vessel in its own right, the Revenge class was usually the center of a fleet of cruisers and destroyers. The Victory Cruiser also lacked firepower and was particulary slow and unmaneuverable compared to the Acclamator.The Revenge-class Heavy Carrier was a command vessel that evolved from the Venator-class destroyer used in the early days of the Galactic Empire. Victory Cruisers also had a shield generator meaning that unlike the Acclamator, the Victory Cruiser was not immune to complete shield destruction. A good capital ship can easily overwhelm a single Victory Cruiser and before you know it, it will likely be gone. One main weakness the Victory Cruiser has is its inability hold it's own against enemy capital ships and bomber attacks. They could also fend off fighter attacks particularly well. They were also fairly durable and weren't as fragile as the Acclamator. They were also particularly effective at disabling enemy shields very quickly thanks to it's ion cannon. One thing the Victory Cruiser excelled at was its ability to effectively attack corvette class ships, and unlike the Acclamator Cruiser, it could carry more fighter and bomber squadrons and could counter the Assault Frigate which the Acclamator cannot do. The Victory II-class Star Destroyer was later developed as a replacement for the older Victory. However, they are somewhat limited when battling larger capital ships, and require fighter squadrons to ward off enemy bombers that can easily dispatch them. Bridging the gap between the Acclamator-class and the Imperial-class Star Destroyers, the Victory class has medium power, capable of easily defeating corvettes and light frigates. They were used as frigates by the Galactic Empire.
